1. Seek wealth, not money. Money is the ability to have credits and debits of other people's time. Wealth is assets that earn while you sleep. Focus on building assets that generate passive income, such as businesses, real estate, and investments.
2. Live by first principles. Don't blindly follow others or accept conventional wisdom. Think for yourself and figure things out from first principles. This means asking the most basic questions, such as "What is truth?" and "What is good?"
3. Read what you love until you love to read. Reading is the best way to learn new ideas and expand your knowledge. When you love to read, you'll never stop learning.
4. Get bored. Boredom is the enemy of progress. When you're bored, your mind is free to wander and come up with new ideas. So embrace boredom and let your mind roam free.
5. Be impatient with actions, patient with results. Take action immediately on your ideas, but don't expect results overnight. It takes time and effort to achieve your goals. Be patient with the process and enjoy the journey.
6. Choose what you desire very, very carefully. Your desires shape your life. Choose them wisely. Make sure that your desires are aligned with your values and goals.
7. Don't take yourself too seriously. You're just a monkey with a plan. Don't get too attached to your ego or your possessions.
8. Happiness is a skill. It takes practice to be happy. Just like any other skill, you can get better at happiness with practice.
9. The greatest superpower is the ability to change yourself. You can't control the world around you, but you can control yourself. Focus on changing yourself for the better and everything else will follow.
10. Don't spend your time trying to make other people happy. If you are happy, it makes other people happy. If you are not happy, no amount of effort will make other people happy.
